CSIR to model Khalifa Port, UAE

The Hydraulics Laboratory of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) located in Stellenbosch is contracted to conducted a physical model for Khalifa Port, one of the worlds biggest port projects.

The proposed port at Khalifa, located in the United Arab Emirates will, if built, cover an area of 2.2 square kilometres and have an annual capacity of 2 million TEU's.
