South African Fuel supply chain to be upgraded

According to PetroSA, the fuel supply chain in South Africa is to be upgraded as the corporation announced a number of projects aimed at improving infrastructure at ports around the country.

The Petroleum, Oil and Gas Corporation of South Africa (PetroSA) announced that the projects are: the upgrading of bulk oil storage and import capacity at Cape Town; the upgrading of existing storage facilities at Saldanha Bay; the development of a fuels industry terminal for imports into the Eastern Cape as well as the development of storage facilities at Coega; the establishment of a stategic storage facility at Durban and the increased storage tankage for supply security to the Mossgas Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) Refinery in Mossel Bay.
